Maja-Rei Caley spent countless hours knocking on doors to sell 1,000 boxes of Girl Scouts cookies. Her motivation during the three-month cookie sale was to help pay for camp this summer, which her parents could not afford.

Maja-Rei spent about 12 to 16 hours on the weekends trying to sell boxes of the famous Thin Mints, Caramel DeLites, Peanut Butter Patties and other cookie varieties.

Maja-Rei said she wanted to go to camp again this year because "it's really fun, you can learn new skills and you can make new friends." Her love of camp has inspired her to think about becoming a troop leader when she grows up, but her true ambition is to become a marine biologist and discover new marine life forms.
