Shortly after Hilton made the claim on the social networking site, Will.i.am signed up to deny it.
His first tweet read: "I just made a twitter account because it isn't cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies."
"This dude is crazy... he will go to any length to get press."
Hilton first posted a tweet about the alleged incident outside a club in Toronto at 3am Sunday night.

"I was assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."
Will.i.am, who earlier that night had performed at the MuchMusic Video Awards, responded by posting a video on his account telling his side of the story.
"This dude twists it," he said in the video. "I hate you Perez. Come on, I didn't hit you."
