Plot : Nim's Island is an adventurous comedy directed by Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin. Nim Rusoe (Abigail Breslin), a young girl living on a tropical island with her father, a research scientist. She rules the magical island with her imagination, living in a fantasy world that reflects the life of her favorite literary character, Alex Rover (Gerard Butler), a great adventurer, while the author of the Rover books, Alexandra (Jodie Foster) lives a secluded life in a big city. Nims world turns upside down when her father goes missing and the island is threatened by careless tour companies. It is then that Nim seeks the help of Alexandra, to conquer back her island.
