Today, technology is so pervasive that it heavily taxes both the environment and precious energy resources. Consider that the average PC wastes nearly half of its power, and the average server wastes nearly one-third of its power. In addition, poor practices in disposal and recycling of technology products represent a growing hazard to the environment.
PCMagCast's free, online expo will give attendees solid, actionable knowledge on the topic of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technology usage, recycling, disposal, and more. The day-long event will feature a combination of interactive roundtable/panel discussions (which will feature PC Magazine experts as well as vendor representatives) and information-packed, interactive vendor booths.
