1) I created the negative things in my life through my actions, but/because there were outside influences of which I had absolutely no control over. These outside influences just happened and may happen again in the future.
2) I created the negative things in my life through my thoughts and actions and in the future I will not create these negative experiences because I realize I, and I alone, am responsible for creating them. I believe I will control all my future experiences from this point forward and I choose to create a life full of positive experiences I want.
You’ll notice there is one glaring difference between the two statements. The first statement contains a “but”, the second does not.
And it is in the “but” where many of us, either in whole or in part, are interacting with a great and powerful law. From our perspective it is a default law, the antithesis of the mighty Law of Attraction. Well learned colleagues have even stated it as a corollary of the Law of Attraction.
