"Between family and financial demands, working overtime, rapidly changing technologies, corporate downsizing, and caregiving for older relatives, people in midlife are struggling with more stressors than previous generations have ever experienced," says stress management expert Peter Lambrou, Ph.D., a clinical and consulting psychologist at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California.
