People who have herpes (i.e. those infected with the herpes simplex virus) are obviously interested if finding a herpes cure is possible.Well the answer could probably be a yes but who knows how soon it could happen.Hopes are up that a cure or perhaps just a vaccine would be available for herpes since there is already a vaccine for chicken pox (herpes zoster virus).
The truth is there are already several vaccines being developed.This means there is a very big possibility a cure would be available in the near future. What is currently available is a very successful topical herpes treatment that actually kills the herpes virus on contact.
But while we are in the process of finding a cure for genital herpes, it would be best that those who have the virus educate themselves, look for treatments and as much as possible be very cautious of not spreading genital herpes to others.
