Travel through Places and times

My travel journal.

This will be more of a relocation journal. Revisiting travel of times gone by and days to come, perhaps you will travel with me by these words. This will be my virtual postcard. So, many times I sat with the paper stack checking to see if I left anyone out, to see if I left anything out. Somehow, it was too much too fast. It is so much different than going on a vacation, when you know you are going back. Anything you could think of or just a hi works in a true travel postcard to friends and family. But we are all moving to different places with new challenges. Any burst of excitement doesn't make the challenges any less. Nor do the challenges make the burst of enthusiasm and hope fade.

The photos I will submit with this journal entry is just a stopping place I spent a short while at on my way to the wonderful desert city of El Paso. It is only June so I am sure that my tales of the summer heat in the desert will surprise both you and I a tad bit. Perhaps by July or August the thermometer will give me a reason to post new tales of vacations to cooler spots. Let us wait and see.

These pictures of Houston will be added to with several more each day this week. These particular pictures were taken with a Hewlett Packard digital camera from a moving cab window.
