SpyMac announced today the relaunch of their Mac fan site, with a plan to pay members more than $100,000 for their submissions in the first month. The new version of the site has been rolled out incrementally over the past two weeks, with the official launch taking place today. The only problem? It’s darned ugly.

The new “Leapfrog” site allows users to share videos, photos and music and get paid for doing so. The ad revenue sharing is a similar idea to Revver: users get paid a cut of the ad revenue for their media depending on how many times it gets viewed. They’ve also added face-to-face video chat - it’s similar to Stickam, and they hope users will log on for everything from online dating to business chats and catching up with family abroad. Another key aspect is regionalization: SpyMac now supports English, Arabic, Portuguese, simplified and traditional Chinese, Czech, Italian, French, Korean, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Romanian, Lithuanian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian.
