Commercial Regional Affiliates are independent companies that own ground stations and processing facilities. They purchase satellite time from GeoEye and download the IKONOS® data direct into their facilities. Regional Affiliates maintain copyright and ownership of acquired imagery and establish IKONOS pricing within their communication cones.

Master Channel Partners have exclusive rights to all or a group of customers within a given territory. They have rights to appoint Channel Partners within their territories.

Channel Partners have non-exclusive rights to customers worldwide, except for customers located in an exclusive territory.
