(CNSNews.com) - A new 60-second nationwide radio ad for GOP presidential candidate John McCain and vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin promising “millions more” dollars in federal research involving stem cells is raising questions, particularly among pro-life conservatives, because the ad is vague about what kind of stem cell research the McCain campaign is officially endorsing.

The ad, which was paid for by the McCain-Palin campaign and the Republican National Committee, trumpets Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) support for stem-cell research.

CNSNews.com contacted both the McCain-Palin campaign and the Republican National Committee to ask them about the ad – and what kind of stem-cell research is being advocated. Neither organization would comment.
