After 10 years of planning and dreaming, the adventurers have embarked on an 8000 mile journey by canoe across Canada, along with their 17 month old Alaskan Malamute dog Taq.
Taq decided he wasn’t getting back in the canoe when we were leaving Wallace Island so we pretended to leave without him. He quickly decided that he would rather be with us than marooned on the island.
